A once in a lifetime experience that will excite, move and captivate you! This is your chance to go behind the scenes at Auckland Zoo and experience wildlife eye-to-eye. Meet Oz, our male Sumatran tiger, up close and personal at the back of his enclosure. Enter his realm and help his keeper prepare a feed for him, while getting a tiger eye’s view of his enclosure. Your exclusive animal adventure, that’s as close as it gets!
Your guide will be with you at all times during the tour. Staff at Auckland Zoo will take all practical steps to reduce the risks in their activities to acceptable levels, supply instruction on safe practices, and make participants aware of the level of risk in each activity. However all activities require a shared responsibility.
This tour is run from 2.15 - 3.30 pm (tbc when booking). Weather will not normally affect this tour, but this can be confirmed on the morning of the booking.
The minimum age requirement is 10 years old. An adult must accompany children under the age of 15. Minimum height 1.3 metres tall.
