Fullers Volcanic Explorer Guided Safari has it all - harbour

the summit and great photo opportunities. Learn all about Auckland's
youngest volcano, its fiery history, its unique flora and fauna
and have fun along the way!
A 30-minute cruise from Auckland takes you to the wharf at Rangitoto
Island where you'll be met by your guide. Board the 4WD road
train for a fully commentated safari. Disembark at the base
of the summit cone and walk the 900 metre (approx. 15-20 mins)
scenic boardwalk and steps to the top. Re-join the Volcanic Explorer
and discover the other side of the island before returning to
the wharf. It is possible to spend more time exploring Rangitoto
and return on a later ferry to Auckland.

Cruises to Rangitoto depart from the cruise centre in downtown Auckland. Ferries leave from the ferry building, downtown Auckland daily.
