Drive a Ford V8 Race Car - Hampton Downs - 1 person
This gift experience provides the opportunity to drive a V8 on Hampton Downs Race Track. You will arrive at our exclusive race facility to be greeted by our friendly hosts and enjoy a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. Your family and friends will be able to enjoy our exclusive facilities while always feeling involved in your day.
DVD tuition will ensure you are well briefed for a safe and exciting day at the race track. Before you get behind the wheel a Motorsport New Zealand qualified driving instructors will drive you around the track in a familiarisation lap to reinforce your classroom tuition and familiarise you with the racetrack, as a bonus we will invite one of your guests along for the ride!
Drive a Ford V8 time!
We will provide you with full race gear to wear and then take a portrait photo of you with your race car before being strapped into a Ford V8 race car. Experience the speed and handling of Australasia's icon vehicles. You will actually drive a FordV8 race car for one session while your instructor helps you achieve your personal best time. Race over the finish line and take your place on the podium to receive your presentation folder including certificates and a complimentary photo.

At Hampton Downs this is five laps on the National Circuit
NB. If the specified track is not available another track will be used. Due to the different lengths of each track the number of laps may vary.
You will be required to sign a waiver prior to undertaking of this activity. A damage indemnity waiver which reduces the liability of any one incident is available at an additional cost of $50 (not included in the cost of your reward, but this can be paid on the day). Drivers aged between 14-18 years old must have a guardian present to sign on their behalf.
You do not require a licence to do this experience.
You must be over the age of 14 years to drive.
