Drive an open wheeled formula challenge and a V8 race car on the track at Taupo - the ultimate gift for a petrol head.

Race a V8 on Taupo's newly refurbished state of the art track, then climb into the cockpit of a single seater race car for some Formula style fun. Not one, but two driving adventures, combine for the ultimate day behind the wheel on the country's new premier race track.

This is a rare opportunity to actually race a V8 on a professional track. See the world through the eyes of a championship driver in a full-on session that includes pre-drive tuition, and six furious laps behind the wheel of a race modified V8.

Then it's time for some Formula style kicks as you discover the high-speed thrills of single seater racing. Fly at speeds of up 160kph as you cover six searing laps of the track. Discover the excellent power to weight ratio of single seater racing as you learn the secrets and theory of championship driving.

COURSE CONTENT
- 1 session in a V8 Race Car racing Car
- 1 session in a Formula Challenge Race Car
- Estimated Duration 2.5 to 3 hours

Package includes:
- Use of FC overalls, helmet, gloves and boots
- Drivers Briefing/Tuition
- 1 session (6 laps on track 3 OR 5 laps on track 2) in a V8 Road Car with instructor
- 1 session (10 laps on track 3 OR 6 laps on track 2) in a Formula Challenge racing car
- Debrief and PI data analysis
- Certificate Presentation with PI analysis

NB. If the specified track is not available another track will be used. Due to the different lengths of each track the number of laps may vary.

You will be required to sign a waiver prior to undertaking of this activity. A damage indemnity waiver which reduces the liability of any one incident is available at an additional cost of $50 (not included in the cost of your reward, but this can be paid on the day).
