Adopt A Star

To mark a special occasion or to commemorate a special person – why not adopt a star?

Stars selected are visible from New Zealand and an official star catalogue name and/or number is cross-referenced on the presentation certificate you receive. The star selected and recorded on your certificate is unique to you. We allocate one certificate only to each star.

Your Adopt-a-Star pack contains:
A presentation certificate (suitable for framing) dedicating the selected star to a nominated person or event.
A star chart showing where to find the star in the night sky.
Background information on the star's constellation.
One Adult Pass (or two Child Passes) to a planetarium show at Stardome Observatory.
A discount voucher for framing your certificate at 'the frame workshop'.
