Mon Logis was built as a terrace house in the 1860s. This colonial building was extended into a private hotel in 1915 and was one of the few buildings to survive the 1931 earthquake. In 1991 it became Mon Logis ('My Lodge'), recreating the French tradition of boutique hotel in Hawke's Bay.

Downstairs the two guests lounges invite relaxation, television viewing, radio and CD listening, a quiet time reading or, perhaps, a game of chess or bridge.

Continental or full cooked breakfast is included. A delicious breakfast can be served in the privacy of your room or in the downstairs dining room. A basket of freshly baked continental breads, croissants and brioche with a compote of locally grown fruits or a wonderful omelette, crispy bacon, poached or fried eggs with sauted mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. Whichever is chosen certainly promises to be a most memorable meal.

Guests can help themselves to coffee, tea or fruit juice and homemade biscuits any time or the day.
