Learn to Ride a Segway - 1 hour (2 people)

We will bring  two Segways to the location of your choice - your place, a park, the beach, etc - and teach the two of you how to ride, quickly and safely. Then they’re yours to glide around on for an hour, go exploring, and have all the fun you can!

How does the Segway work? The Segway doesn't have gears, accelerator, or brakes. To move forward, just lean! To slow down and stop, straighten up. To reverse, just lean back gently. It’s like magic - most people can be riding a Segway within 30 seconds.

By then you’ll have such a big smile on your face you won’t want to get off! Anyone 7 to 87, who can stand by themselves and walk short distances, and step up 8 inches unassisted can ride a Segway HT.

If you start to fall forward the Segway scoots forward under you faster than you are falling to stand you up again, before you even notice. If you’re falling backwards it scoots back. And it makes these adjustments continuously and so quickly that you don’t even notice at all.

You will also be supplied with a picnic basket so that you can enjoy a romantic meal between the two of you.
