The trained Motorsport Instructors are professionals who know the full capabilities of the race cars. Their enthusiasm and expertise will reassure and encourage you. As your confidence grows, they'll help you maximise your potential to the limits of enjoyment and excitement without ever compromising on safety.
This course is tailored to suit the complete novice who wants to sample a taste of what it is like to drive a race car. You will get 10 laps in a Formula Challenge single seater race car.
Formula Challenge cars incorporate all the technology of a modern racing car, with F1 style paddle gear change, full data logger acquisition dash equipment and are built to conform to all MotorSport New Zealand safety requirements. The cockpits are designed to suit all sizes of people from 5' to 6'4" and up to 110kgs.
NB. If the specified track is not available another track will be used. Due to the different lengths of each track the number of laps may vary.
You will be required to sign a waiver prior to undertaking of this activity. A damage indemnity waiver which reduces the liability of any one incident is available at an additional cost of $50 (not included in the cost of your reward, but this can be paid on the day).
