If you are mad about elephants, then this is the ultimate experience for you. You and a friend will meet the Zoo's Asian elephant Burma and help the keepers scrub this amazing creature down during bath time. This is an experience that you will never forget.
Venture behind-the-scenes and meet Burma up close and personal, where you will greet her with a favourite snack. Then, roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty when you help the keepers give Burma her daily scrub-down. Complete your experience by watching the public elephant encounter from inside the elephant paddock. Your guide will photograph you immersed in your tour. The photos will be put onto CD, which you will receive at the tour conclusion - a fantastic record of your unforgettable experience. Tour includes all day Zoo access.
This tour is run from 10.45 am on Saturdays (please confirm times when booking). Weather will not normally affect this tour, but this can be confirmed on the morning of the booking.
Minimum age is 8, participants under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by an adult.
