A kayaking trip to the Riverhead Tavern is the perfect trip for groups and novices. This trip is very scenic, sheltered and it is usually not difficult to motivate people when the word "pub" is involved!
Being close to Auckland (starts and finishes at Herald Island), sheltered and with varied scenery, we highly recommend this trip.
Food can be ordered at the pub which you can enjoy while drinking an ale or two (not included with this voucher).
The trip is tide dependent and departure times depend on the tide. The trip takes 5 hours in total including briefing, instruction, time at the pub and return journey. Paddling time is 1.5 hours at an easy pace.

Gift restrictions:
There is no guarantee on good weather. Sometimes, for your safety, trips will need to be postponed due to weather conditions. We require a minimum of 6 people to run a trip on the day of your choice, and our maximum group size is 16. We can fit smaller groups and individuals in with scheduled trips. The minimum age for our trips is 13, the maximum is 130.
