 Little Barrier Island Dive Charter – 1 Person Enjoy a full day diving at one of New Zealand’s most incredible dive locations, Little Barrier Island. Head out for a 45-minute boat trip to the island and take two dives through the rocky reefs to explore the abundant fish and invertebrate life among the kelp forest. Book onto one of our February charters to dive with Juvenile Hammerhead Sharks! Little Barrier is a step back in time to the Jurassic world of past. Once a volcano, her cliffs are high and powerful, providing a setting for the dives to follow. The holes and cracks house many crayfish, perhaps the overflow from Tawharanui Marine Park and Goat Island Marine Reserve on the adjacent coast. Add red moki, painted moki, demoiselle and blue maomao and Little Barrier offers some of the best diving close to Auckland. Don’t forget your underwater camera if you have one!  Please note this experience is for certified divers only. If you have not dived within the last 12 months you will need to contact us about a refresher course. Minimum age 14 years for certified child divers, must be accompanied by an adult
