Explore New Zealand’s first ever marine reserve, Goat Island, on this one-day charter. Dive this reserve and see areas unreachable from the shore and witness the wild side of Goat Island. Then, head to Tawharanui Marine Reserve, a 400-hectare marine reserve with flourishing marine life. You won’t have to swim far to find a nest of crayfish. The Marine reserves are designated areas that are completely protected from the sea surface to the seafloor and the entire area is strictly 'no take', including sea creatures, marine life and shells. This way all fish and marine life thrive at Goat Island for you to observe in its natural habitat. You’ll meet at the dive centre headquarters in the morning for your safety briefings before heading out for a full day. Bring your own lunch to enjoy in a sheltered bay out on the water.
