Helicopter Flying Lesson – 30 minute Introduction – Auckland – 1 person –  This gift provides a chance to take a helicopter for a spin! During this 30 minute flying lesson you can experience the excitement of flying a rotary wing aircraft. Learn to fly a helicopter in Auckland with a qualified instructor you actually get to trial the controls and fly! Take in the spectacular sights of Ardmore with this hands-on experience and become a pilot for half an hour. Upon arrival at our Ardmore Airfield base you will be greeted by your instructor. The adventure will begin with a preflight briefing on safety and how the helicopter works. On take off you will depart the airfield and embark on a sensational helicopter flight where you’ll learn turns and how to climb and descend. We’ll then take the flight to the next level with a flight through Whitford Forest and on the way back to the airfield we’ll set up an autorotational approach to show you how we can land without using engine power. Once back at Ardmore try your hand at hovering the aircraft! This is an amazing opportunity to operate amazing machinery! Flight time is 25 minutes
