Description
ZORB 3 Ride Flexi Pass -1 person – Rotorua – Superman dive into a giant inflatable ball and roll down Mt Ngongotaha with ZORB, where the fun will have you laughing uncontrollably. Discover FOUR different ball rolling tracks – the world’s longest zig-zag Sidewinder Track, the smooth ‘n’ fast double Straight Track, and the MEGA Track which is the longest, fastest and steepest track in all the land. The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers invented and developed the first ever ZORB site in the world back in 1997 at this very location! To this day, ZORB Rotorua is the ONLY location in New Zealand where you can experience this amazingly fun and bizarre bucket list activity. We have FOUR different tracks to choose from: 1. STRAIGHT TRACK: Superman dive into the ZORB on your own or have one, two or three people in there together as you slip, slide and laugh your way down the 250m long slope. Riders have the option of racing their friends and family down the dual tracks. 2. SIDEWINDER TRACK: 350m of the twistiest track ever constructed and is the longest in the world. Slide in 40 litres of water (cool in summer, warm in winter) getting speed up on the straights before riding up the sides of the 6 massive corners. 3. MEGA TRACK: The fastest, longest and steepest downhill ball rolling track in the WORLD! Perched high up on the edge of the ultimate drop, feel the earth disappear beneath you as you plummet down 350m of the craziest track invented. If the epic view doesn’t take your breath away, the sheer scale will have you gasping – This track is a H2OGO ride only with a maximum of 2 riders. 4. PIPELINE TRACK: The PIPELINE is our newest track at ZORB, up to three riders slide in the ride as the PIPELINE starts out with a wiggle, a weave and then takes you whizzing through an arboreal tunnel only to finish off with a sweeping half pipe finish. 320M, The ZORB is a 3 metre (11 foot) transparent sphere lovingly constructed from over 100 square metres (300 square feet) of plastic, more than 1,000 little plastic anchors, about 600 multi-coloured strings and endless hours of welding, glueing and tieing combined with sweat, tears and billions of teensy little kisses to make a beautiful big ball that you can jump inside and roll down a hill. Be prepared to get wet on all these rides
